not a soft synth, but would work well with a keytar: a Behringer Deepmind12D desktop module.

It is flexible enough to do pretty much any sound you would need. More reliable than software on a laptop and plenty of polyphony.

I use it alongside legendary synths like the Roland D50, Roland Super JX10 and Yamaha SY77 and it fits in.

Well dang, Apple approved MidiWrist Unleashed at my first try. There were so many things I feared would trigger rejection: background usage of real-time motion data, background usage of Bluetooth connections, completely custom implementation of BLE MIDI for Apple Watch, first standalone Watch app I made, ... and more.

Once the beta period is over, it should be a straight shot to public release now! 😁

I have released SendMIDI v1.3.0 and ReceiveMIDI v1.4.0 with support for the new MPE Profile.

The intent of these versions of my tools is that people can focus on either the initiator or responder role for their product and leave the other part of the negotiation up to either SendMIDI or ReceiveMIDI. This should make it easier to bootstrap adding MPE Profile support.
