Reading through the developer interviews from @amadeus and @linuxaudiodevelopment, there is really many good examples of how developers benefit from making their plugins available for Linux, but I think this quote from Artemiy Pavlov is an extra good argument: Being happy to give users more choice of where to run their plugins, so choice of OS shouldn't be an issue for collaboration.

The quality of the free synths from U-he are just insane. As far as I can see, you dont get better free synths anywhere - and they're all native Linux!

No doubt U-he made it to Top 1 of my "To buy more from this vendor"-list.

This is the best Bitwig video I have seen so far. It's really inspiring to see another type of music producer building something (primarily with stock plugins) from the ground up.

As a musician educated for played - not produced - music, I have found the learning curve quite steep for how to make the computer a new second instrument - which I think it can be, and this video proves it is so. Very few videos shows this in practice.

Massive round of improvements to SessionMixer!

High level cue mixes now working. Supports multiple cue mixes. New topology and session frameworks internally. Routing manipulation via buttons (see "mute" button).

See the attached screenshot and config. That simple config turns into a tidy little cue mix!
