Late afternoon in November, Lahontan Reservoir was so very quiet. The sandy hill covered with spent rabbitbrush was a great vantage point. Just finished this, so on the day 10, I can finally post a new piece!

This is my painting of a fennel field under moonlight, which I couldn't go see in real life.

My favorite neighborhood farm has several patches of flowering fennels. They are beautiful in the sun, but I wanted to see them under moonlight, which is difficult to do. This is what I imagine it might look like.
