I set my alarm this morning just in case it was a rare sleeping in day. Summer and I both needed exercise and the crack of dawn would be our only possibility.
An overcast day.
The tide was low.
We know how low the tide is by how the air smells when we open the car door.
No other humans in sight but lots of birds and small critters.
Summer was joyful.
Grandma was happy too.
Summer says we should enjoy the moment.
