Did you know they don't have well developed voiceboxes? So communicate by bill-clattering instead. I've only heard them do this a few times when they're out getting breakfast, but it sounds a bit like a construction site when they goss

Jokes on me, it had already delivered said baby and labour started hours after the joke.

Seems it's origins are still something of a mystery, but historians tend to agree its linked to their 9 month migration. Starting around the summer solstance (when folks would often marry back then), and then returning from Africa 9 months later to have chicks of their own.
