I have a couple of 2004 PowerPC machines which are still quite usable, and certainly more powerful than most of the SBC devices out there.

I have worked with Crays etc. but now I have a few Raspberry Pis which can do anything I need I am happy. I have a Mac for desktop but my servers are Pis.

Yes. When you use them you hardly know. Even some web browsers work well - but Firefox keeps bloating out of control so you can only use earlier versions.
