so much self-contradiction on that page:

»Firefox is the most trusted alternative to privacy-invading browsers.«

...surrounded by a bunch of illustrations of how ads can turn Firefox into a privacy-invading browser 🤪

Seriously? at a time when trust in big corps is at an all time low ??

I agree with "discerning", I don't agree with brand-loyal 😂

And I'm pretty sure their target market cares two hoots about ads.

Most tech-minded, privacy-conscious folks see ads as an intrusion to their own privacy + most of us want more in-depth engagement before product purchases

it looks like it is time to dump Firefox. It has been in my periphery for some time.

I am still baffled of the announcement when the new CEO stepped in and declared that user trust was vital, then in the next sentence said they were gonna go deep into AI. And now again with the trust thing while doing among the least trustworthy things a company can do these days. These people are completely isolated from reality.

we use FF (actually a fork focused on privacy and security) because FF is slight less shite than Chrome, nothing to do with loyalty.

They are Wrong. The brand is losing value fast. We were loyal to the original idea not this one.

I don't even… how can you think that? – are they … is this really… ? For real??? 😯
