TROM II: Unconscious Media Manipulation https://videos.trom.tf/w/g59bwQcNRCdcZsA92JCPJk
Movies/Music/Books are not just that. Often times they are a marketing tool and many people may be clueless about the fact that they insert product placements everywhere.
When @Georgi shared a video from our documentary on Facebook and wanted to tag @Be Brave To Act Facebook page, she had no option but had it appeared as if this was a "paid partnership" with @Dima 's page. haha. Because as I said before, Facebook is not a "social network" it is an ad platform, so they naturally see these "taggings" between pages as partnerships.

It stands to reason that if you want to get a hold of a lot of data, which technically has value, your job would be the devalue said data as much as possible.
This is what happened to the #internet citc 2000, when #ads covered every single page like a plague of locusts. Your eyeball time was devalued.
Then, #Facebook basically devalued your personal information by making it normal to give all of it away.
Now Facebook wants $10 to remove ads, but not #tracking.
Probably not the best place to run an ad? First thought after loading https://killedbygoogle.com was "Damn, Google bought Okta and killed off one of Okta's products already?"

Roku’s idea of showing ads on your HDMI inputs seems like an inevitable hell
A new Roku patent reveals a future where the company could display ads on devices plugged in to a Roku TV. But Amazon and Google are also testing the patience of streaming device customers.Chris Welch (The Verge)
Your Roku TV could soon show you #ads every time you hit pause — even on other devices or apps.
#Roku recently filed a patent for a technology that would let it inject ads into third-party content—like an #Xbox game or #Netflix movie—using an #HDMI connection
The patent describes sophisticated ways to detect when you’ve paused your content and analyze what you’re watching to show relevant ads. #Privacy
