TL; DR: The best time to stop using US tech was yesterday. The second best time is today.
Yesterday the US Supreme Court ruled that the US Federal Trade Commission ("FTC") may not be independent anymore. But being independent is the entire basis for (and only reason) why Europeans are allowed to send data from the EU to the USA.Without this basis, you aren't allowed to use Google Analytics, to give perhaps the most concrete example for why this is a big deal.

It's crazy all of the "I don't know why startups hate us" and "why don't we have more tech firms like America?" I hear coming out of the European continent.
The simple fact is that the Americans dominate the market and have totally unrestricted access to the EU.
Money gets siphoned out of European consumers and into silicon valley tech salaries.
We're long overdue a change
