This photo looks like it is from a movie, it sure has a story to tell. But is it someone looking out or in? The eyes are so far from the present, so perhaps he is looking at back on his past with regret and longing for something lost along the way.

Also, I love the dark and grainy texture too.

@ambivalena As always, you see more in the image than what is simply in front of the camera. I really like your question about whether he is looking outward or inward, because the whole frame is built around that uncertainty. The past, regret, and longing for something lost are all very close here, although I didn’t want to name anything too directly. I’m also glad you noticed the darkness and the grain. They were meant to be part of the story, not just part of the aesthetic.
