Found a strong beaver working on its log cabin this morning, hauling serious lumber down the creek to the lodge. Amazing! #Hiking #AltText
Photo shows a large beaver, only its head above water, hauling a fairly hefty log, maybe four inches in diameter and seven feet long, down a creek. It is in the shade so the photo color are muted. The beaver is holding on to one end of log in its mouth, the other end trailing behind.
Another shot of the log hauling beaver, this one in better light and showing more color, including the beaver's brown head and green aquatic vegetation along the stream.
