Digital sovereignty is gaining momentum in Germany & Europe 🇪🇺

@republica in Berlin, Katja Mast discussed Europe’s digital future with @Tutanota alongside @ecosia and @jospoortvliet from @nextcloud

We made one message clear:

Europe must reduce dependence on non-European tech infrastructure. Now we need political support, public awareness & procurement that backs European solutions.

Together we can shape the internet of the future!🚀

just hope your partner stop to sell sovereinty on US infrastructure (like forcing the user side to use github for update or critical component download).

I'm glad to see you partnering with other European companies.

I just wish that #Ecosia hadn't gone on to go so deep into #AI with their services. And I don't see a way to cut it out completely like there is on #DuckDuckGo.

I am glad that you've taken a stand against it.

so crazy to come up with such an idea

there is a need for an open minded global internet for the world

an internet that actually brings people to a higher level

not to the level of some arab jewish russian american european chinese animals like trump netanyahu putin to name a few

#mindset #internet

Presumably everyone knows about events.diday.org/ and many other installfests going on every week? Digital independence at the grassroots level is proceeding far faster than the yak-yak of the E.U.
