AI agents failed to complete tasks up to 70% of the time, making them almost entirely redundant as a workforce replacement tool. At best, they're a way for skilled employees to save time on low-level tasks, but those tasks were already being handed off to lower-level employees. Having an AI do it and fail half the time isn't exactly a winning alternative.

Wait! What?!!

A show that does not, never did, and is not likely to ever exist.

IMdb however has a stub for this show with a photo of a female captain in a TNG-era uniform sitting on a Galaxy class styled bridge.

It just came up while I was searching for the Starfleet Academy show that will premiere in January 2026.

There was never such a fan project that I am aware of.

So, my conclusion is that it’s an AI hallucination.

Am I missing something?

If I were on #spotify, I’d cancel my subscription/account immediately.

King Gizzard pulled their music from the platform so Spotify has replaced it with #AI knockoffs of their music. As if paying almost nothing for streaming wasn’t evil enough, they’re now using LLMs trained on stolen content to pay artists nothing at all.

There's a track I'd love to share from a small independent musician, but they've decided to use AI artwork so it makes it seem like the music itself is slop too (even though it isn't) 😞

I know most musicians don't have a budget for artwork, but there are many free alternatives to AI such as creative commons (commons.wikimedia.org has lots of CC images for example). Even just having the name of the track would be much better than AI.

The 3 PCs I just brought in for my employer were $1079 a week ago, and are now $1320.

The memory prices are already making their way to pre-builts.

The SSDs, memory modules AND HDDs in my purchase history have all gone up substantially, if not out of stock completely.

The crowd funded public data server with 8x refurb data center HDDs was around $1200. Now it would be $1600.

This is bad. 2026 will be special.
