*snort* it'll never happen. Just like the Mars colony and Hyperloop. Big talk and bluster about a grandiose project that cannot possibly be built*, that cannot possibly work*, and which will gradually morph into something less stupid and less exciting until the hype dies down and everybody forgets about it.

*with current technology. These things are great sci-fi and who knows maybe one day we'll figure out how to actually do it, or maybe we'll find these technologies are monstrously hard and expensive dead-ends and there are simply better ways to do what we want to do.
