#Meta is keeping to its word, as it continues to federate #Threads. This is good for those who like news, don’t want ads, and can live without an algorithmic timeline. The #fediverse is very much a “choose your own UX” sort of thing.

Meta is doing other stuff too:

@FediThing There are some large gaps in Meta’s performance countries outside North America and Europe. I don’t say that to be dismissive, merely to acknowledge the unfortunate reality.
