As part of my monitoring of NPR's coverage of Democrats versus Republicans, they are spending another big part of a program today to bash Joe Biden over him pardoning his last surviving son.

That Mark Osler sure is willing to sacrifice Hunter Biden to the corrupt GOP judges and prosecutors in order to push his pet projects.

Hunter Biden was a victim of a Kremlin plot to manufacture kompromat.

It's the fault of our media that so few Westerners are aware of what is so obvious to us historians of the Muscovites.

Now, this is too simple an explanation. Yes, the mainstream US media, #FauxNews in particular are partly to blame.
However, *before* #Musk and his other Middle- and Far-Eastern investors took over #Twitter, *anyone* able to read was able to gather most of the pertinent information.

Furthermore, #SethAbramson 1) has written whole bestsellers about the Trump Crimes,...

...and I do remember that he also reported in depth on the #Burisma scandal.

s/: Other than that, I must have missed the thread where #HunterBiden was forced to sign the lucrative #Burisma deal with a (six-figure?, I seem to remember) board contract. Also, though not an expert on #Hunter, I fail to remember his huge industry experience that got him the job."

Remember the #SCOTUS building's instruction. There is no vinculated get-out-of-jail card...

...in Monopoly...Except that now, there is. That is wrong. A President should *never* have the power to pardon his family members.

#Trumpism changes all that. Sad.

There is no good reason for Joe Biden have forced his son to suffer at the hands of the corrupt Republican judges and prosecutors that were persecuting him.

I would like to amend our constitution to reform presidential pardon power though as well too.

in reply to Kevin Leecaster

Though I fully sympathize with Joe Biden, the father, Joe Biden, the President of America, has failed the American people again.

The reason is simple:

Hunter Biden was the only person ever solely charged for that gun crime so I do not think he was afforded equal justice under the law because of who his father is, but whatever.

The GOP and the Kremlin sure have been successful convincing a lot of people that all corporate board members are experts in their fields.

That's not how that stuff works. Corporations hire people for the value they bring in many areas.

Hunter Biden was a drug addict at the time he accepted the deal with Burisma. Honestly, that should explain why he went against his father's wishes imho.

Yes, the Kremlin's successful enshitification of Twitter really shut down how much the public was getting informed about just how much interference they've managed to accomplish in Western democratic societies for sure.

Once again I'll highlight that @emptywheel also did a good job trying to inform them especially in regard to Hunter Biden.
