in reply to anonymiss • • •I don't know about that. Ford pardoned Nixon for any and all crimes even before he was ever charged with anything.
There is still the question about the president can pardon himself, but then that question would go to Trump's pet supreme court for that to be decided, so we already know what they would say.
I think that it is unlikely he will bother pardoning himself, since he does not intend to leave office alive anyway.
