UNRWA reported that the so called “Iron Wall” operation carried out by Israeli forces in the northern West Bank since January 21 is the longest and most destructive operation since the Second Intifada.
UNRWA reported that the operation has resulted in the largest displacement of Palestinians in the West Bank since the 1967 war, forcing around 40,000 people to leave their homes.
It added that the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams refugee camps have been nearly emptied of their residents amid the ongoing Israeli operations and large scale home demolitions.
