The Global Sumud Flotilla Coalition submitted a formal complaint to the International Criminal Court (ICC), accusing senior Israeli military and political leaders of war crimes, crimes against humanity, torture, and acts of genocide.

The legal action follows the violent military attack on Sumud vessels seeking to break the blockade on the Gaza Strip and challenge Israel’s longstanding impunity for systematic violence against Palestinians.

The flotilla called for an independent international investigation, a comprehensive arms embargo on Israel, and the prosecution of all those who ordered or carried out the attack.
