A macro photograph of the gills of an orange mushroom that was growing on a fallen over birch tree. The mushroom is sunlit from the cap side, making the gills appear to be glowing from the translucency of the mushroom. The gills run roughly vertically, with the ones to the left bending right and the ones on the right bending left, making it appear a bit like a glowing arched vault. On some of the gills there are dark debris, giving a bit of texture to the photo.
