You might wonder why I post so much Anti-Trump material, yet claim to be a moderate independent politically. It's quite simple--I hold beliefs that run the gamut--left, right, libertarian, etc., but I believe in decency, and I have never felt that Trump is decent. He is the least statesman-like president I've ever lived under. I could easily vote for a different (moderate) republican or democrat that supported my views. But I've been a "Never Trumper" since the beginning.

Both parties are corrupt, & both parties want what's best for their party over what's best for the country. Every election, I have to try to determine who will be the best decent human being to be in charge & to represent our country as a whole. Yes, "represent", as in: BE A MODEL & AN EXAMPLE of decency. As polarized as the U.S. is, only moderate bipartisan solutions can be representative of our country as a whole. Far-right and far-left leaders are too extreme.

What the USA needs right now, more than ever, is a decent human being, that can provide an example to the world of what it means to do what's right and stand up for what is right. That person needs to want to find solutions that work together for everyone. Tie solutions together that provide what both sides want, and bind that solution with a clause that states that all rights from both sides are lost if any part of the law is struck down.

Example solution:

A law that protects LGBTQ rights & religious freedoms at the same time. If any side strikes down any part the law, both sides lose what the law protected. Both sides then have to think carefully before trying to get a law cancelled. It would be a win-win for all if passed. Both sides have a reason to protect the legislation. Both sides keep a deeply divided country working together for what is best for all, rather than just what is best for one party.

Recap:

* Elect a decent moderate human being, willing to commit to what is best for the USA over what is best for the party.

* Seek political solutions that are Win-Win in the views of BOTH parties.

* Quit the ideological civil war between the extremist right and left, and instead work together for the common good.
