Microsoft sent me an email telling me to throw my computer in the trash. 🤷
What does this mean for me? After October 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows Update, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10. What can I do with my old computer? Trade it in or recycle it with local organizations.

@mookie Yeah. I remembered how long I was under Windows NT. But there is no way in hell I'm just going to change HARDWARE for just another incremental Windows sidegrade

@mookie@mastodon.online Totally agreed. It’s silly. It’s unfortunate that Microsoft is so entrenched with making money. If they really cared, they could easily have offered links to Linux distributions.
