I'm thinking specifically about Trump's hyperbolic dishonesty in response to pretty tepid pushback on Tom Cotton to Cotton's overt and repeated lies, but there are countless examples of this:
Trump Republicans claim that anything that isn't outright adulation is somehow an attack. This is a foundation of their grievance platform.
Recognize this pattern. Call it out.

that last sentence is unnecessary. i hate language policing, but contempt for children and hatred or childhood, along with misogyny, racism, LGBTQI phobias are foundational to fascistic cultures. so working that out of our language is critical to antifascist work.
