You can selfhosts i2p sites for anonymity, and the security benefit of not revealing server location / ip address - or discrete remote admin - preventing attackers from having ssh access
I2P Sybil Analysis allows you full control over routers you may trust, or ban those you distrust. For those with concerns about malicious routers, this offers nice transparency / controls.
