Not good

The United States Court of Appeals for DC has cleared the way for #Trump to fire members of the National #Labor Relations Board #NLRB & the Merit Systems Protection Board #MSPB, essentially granting Trump authority over formerly "independent" parts of the executive branch.

Judge Millet dissented saying the decision overturned #SCOTUS precedent & disabled the boards from functioning while the case proceeds.

No it is good because it is sorting a mess out.

When you put independent in quotes it's because that was never really a thing. It was always a giant mess with all sorts of legal and practical ramifications that were really negative, but nobody wanted to actually address the problems.

This is good that we're finally addressing it.

There is no such thing as an independent part of the executive branch. That's a contradiction.
