For a few years now I have espoused the belief that national borders should not impede or restrict the movement of people at all. People should be able to move where they want, work where they want, and live where they want. Borders do not matter to the rich and should not matter to the rest of us.

One reason I believe this is because “enforcing” a border inevitably leads to dehumanization, abuse, and death.
