Folks upset that the #SecretService may have denied #Trump more security resources for his events need to think about it the other way around:
If his events were getting so dangerous, then they shouldn’t have had the events.
At that point it’s really about questionable judgment on the part of Trump’s team, and it’s fair to call them out over that.

They don’t actually seem to want to get answers, just to be documented as attacking her on behalf of #Trump. #Democrats are asking real questions with serious #security concerns & allowing her to answer them.

Kimberly A. Cheatle called the #assassination attempt on #Trump “the most significant operational failure” of the #security agency in decades.
“I will l be transparent as possible when I speak w/you, understanding though that at times, I may be limited in providing a thorough response in this open setting due to associated risks w/sharing highly sensitive protective methodologies,” #Cheatle says.

Richard Goldinger, the DA in #Butler County, PA, where the #Trump rally took place, said the #SecretService “was informed that the local police dept did not have manpower to assist w/securing that building.”
Goldinger’s account was confirmed by a Secret Service ofcl briefed on the incident, who spoke on the condition of anonymity….
