While I’m not celebrating in any particular way today, I remember enjoying the 10th birthday in London during #Wikimania 10 years ago today.
Earlier that day I gave an Intro to OSM lecture. Then that night, I and others like Katie and @SK53 went to The Artillery Arms pub to celebrate with other mappers. There I finally met some OSM veterans like @harry_wood, @woodpeck, and @Firefishy.

I booked my accommodation in Katowice for Wikimania eight months ago. The place looked brand new and modern in the photos.
It seemed like an incredible deal, but now I see why. The exterior is a building site, and construction workers are digging a hole that’s getting alarmingly close to the front door.
