Summer started pestering me early.
She was ready to go to work.
Sunshine is wasting.
Time to get a move on.
By the time she got to her argument that we were lollygagging the day away I took a last swig of coffee and went to get some gloves and a rake.
Summer is right that the greenwaste wasn't going to load itself into the truck.
About half way through the job she decides it's break time. As a card carrying member of the powerful Very Good Dog Union she says a treat and drink of cool water is in order.
Who can argue with that?
I think I need to find out if there is a grandma union out there somewhere.

Oh my goodness.
We slept almost nine hours last night.
Must have been tired.
So relieved that my husband was comfortable enough to sleep the night.
Summer has been extra attentive even bringing him her toy chicken and flamingo. Her current favorite toys.
Today feels like a good day to chill and bake a treat or two.
Summer will lead the way. She's the boss.
