I admit that I don't follow musical trends much but I listen to the #radio all of the time & often discover that I REALLY liked this or that #singer or group whose music I read on the radio but didn't know their name(s) until many years later, #Pink & #FleetwoodMac among them.

Well, after watching the #DuaLipa special on #CBS last night, I can add her to the list.

Her special was a #MasterClass in how to make a musical performance theatrical.

She had ALL the moves perfectly orchestrated to the music & I couldn't help but think that there will be all kinds of male #crossdressers mimicing her costume, moves & routines in #queer bars all across the nation if they aren't already doing it now.

The epitome of female sexuality with a voice --- perfect teeth, perfect figure, perfect hair & a British accent, what more could a straight man (or lesbian) want?

Alfred Eisenstaedt (1898 - 1995) was one of the most influential photojournalists of the 20th century. He was adept at both humorous photo reportages and time-critical photographs. He photographed people from contemporary history as well as completely unknown people. Eisenstaedt preferred to rely on the lighting conditions he found and worked with highly sensitive film material and an open aperture; he did without flash and staged scenes in order to preserve the authenticity of the situation. Photography. A black and white photo from a shop window shows two women standing in front of the window and looking at a painting. A laundry can be seen in the background. The two older women are wearing winter coats and hats and are visibly horrified by the framed painting hanging on the wall. It shows a naked woman getting into her bath (the simple painting was 50 years old and was by an unknown artist called Wagner). Info: The photo appeared as the series "Le regard oblique" together with seven similar photos in the US magazine Life in May 1949. The shop window belonged to the antique store of Robert Miquel, who also worked as a reporter and was a friend of Robert Doisneau. The store was located at 15 Rue de Seine. The two noticed the astonishment and confusion of their compatriots when they saw the naked woman and decided to take a series of photographs. The photos are world-famous because they have been used for many purposes. This photo, for example, fetched a price of 9,500 US dollars at auction.
