UPDATE: We now have a forum
I like #Nix, I do not like what has happened to it. #NixOS is an incredible technology and it deserves better. Nobody else has started the process so I guess I have to be the one to do it. We are forking. I would rather try and fail alongside all the people who love Nix but were pushed away from the project than give up.

I am searching for a tablet which preferrably runs mainline so #PostmarketOS or #NixOS are supported.
Must have:
- a sort of display via cable (USB-C, DP, HDMI)
- bluetooth for mouse and keyboard
- WiFi
Do any of you know of such a device? I guess #PineTab2 is not it?

I’m so annoyed by that non-existing #NixOS community leadership, I’m short to drop all the work I invested in learning it and switch to something else.
But what are the options, especially if one enjoyed the full declarative and reproducible way the whole system was managed?

@aral this is so depressing.
I had a lot of fun and great results in building my systems using #nixos, I even took this as an evaluation experiment for my professional work which would have big impact on my work for years to come.
That it is one of the few "community distros" was on top of my pro list.
Now this.
(Ok, it's not only now but just got clearer and clearer for me over the last months the deeper I got into it.)

I really wish Nix was a democratically governed free and open-source software project that operated based on a shared set of common values and goals. It existed for many years as a loose confederation of enthusiasts. Now “everything is political”.NixOS Discourse
3rd most active contributor to #nixos drops from the project due to the lack of leadership from the Foundation supposedly backing the project.
Everything is fine, I'm sure the arms dealers will compensate the lost contributions. /s

I think that's it. I've been using NixOS for around 10 years, and contributing for +8 years, but it's time for me to say goodbye. I'm deeply disappointed of the Foundation "neutral" stance in the A...GitHub
