People in rural Australia often oppose renewable developments. That is their right. But they don't help their cause by talking about the ruination of 'prime agricultural land' which is in reality infertile semi-desert. In one case they opposed a battery next door to an existing substation located in an old gravel pit. Amazing how prime agricultural land is suddenly being discovered all over the place. They never mentioned it when coal mines were proposed. #auspol

I'm just thinking: Does following @auspol (auspol at tags.pub) work?

In theory it means your posts aren't indexed by tags.pub, but it does fetch everyone else's posts with the #auspol hashtag.

The wonderful Jeffrey Sachs leaves nobody in doubt about the absolute hypocrisy and complicity of western governments who condemned #Iran for defending its country against the illegal attack by #USA and #Israel.

“Even George Orwell could not make this up.”

He also points out that any nation with #US bases on its soil are not sovereign countries.

What complete, utter bullshit.

They're not getting scared away, they're threatening to hold the economy to ransom. We should be threatening to nationalise the gas industry.
