Palestinian hauliers said on Tuesday they feared for the security of aid convoys to Gaza, a day after Israeli protesters wrecked trucks carrying humanitarian supplies bound for the enclave, which is facing a severe hunger crisis.
Footage shows at least one burning truck while other images showed trucks wrecked and stripped of their loads, which lay strewn over the road near Tarqumiya checkpoint outside Hebron in the occupied West Bank.

The main United Nations agency that aids Palestinians, known as UNRWA, said on Thursday that it had temporarily closed its headquarters in East Jerusalem for the safety of its staff after parts of the compound were set on fire following weeks of attacks.
“This evening, Israeli residents set fire twice to the perimeter of the UNRWA Headquarters in occupied East Jerusalem,” said the leader of the agency, Philippe Lazzarini, on social media.

During the massacre, they fired 67 rounds in 13 seconds at the unarmed crowd. The students were protesting the U.S. invasion of Cambodia. With the current wave of student protests against the Israeli genocide in Gaza, the government’s response is looking sickeningly similar to its response to student protests in the early 70s: Violent repression, use of chemical agents, snipers on rooftops. If the vitriolic rhetoric of politicians and pundits continues, another student massacre seems imminent.

German police were accused of using excessive force as they broke up a pro-Palestinian protest camp outside the Bundestag parliament building in Berlin, where several demonstrators were arrested.
Police dismantled tents, forcibly removed protesters and blocked the surrounding area to stop others arriving.
“The idea was to draw attention to the German complicity and active enabling of the Israeli genocide in Gaza,” the camp organizer, told Reuters.

The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, has called for sanctions to be imposed on Israel and for it to be held accountable for its crimes against Palestinians.
“At this point, Israel has reneged on its international obligations to a degree that warrants a call for sanctions,” Albanese said in a press statement yesterday following a visit to Jordan and Egypt.
