We laugh, but honestly this is one of those powerful flashpoint moments that can change the political landscape if we insist on it doing so. With one move the conversation went from "healthcare denials by insurance companies are wrong" to "the people who run health insurance companies are mass murderers." A critical mass of *ordinary people* are saying this, not just movement organizers. This is a big deal.

Yes it is #AI generated and yes I warn of the dangers. Unfortunately, my posts without pictures are mostly ignored. I also have the feeling that most people don't really understand the extent of the threat. Pandora's box can no longer be closed. We can only try to deal with it #responsibly. I do think there's a difference between posting AI images and developing #Skynet.

Forced sterilisation, a serious violation of human rights, occurred across the former communist bloc, both during and after the socialist period. This #study examines the case of the #Czech Republic, where legislation regarding compensation to the victims of forced sterilisation was only passed in 2021, despite a 2005 finding by the Ombudsman that at least 50 women had been subject to the procedure. My research shows that long-standing discrimination against Roma people and public lack of interest in the issue were largely to blame for this delay.
