It’s never the right time.

I took a long break from this platform and from thinking about or engaging with anything neuroscience-related. Part of it was that life got busy, new job and all that. Part of it was that after more than a decade of throwing myself into this field, I needed to breathe away from it. It was good. Gave me the chance to clear my head for a bit and realize that I want to keep engaging with the research even if I’m no longer in academia.

But the longer I stayed away from posting online, the harder it felt coming back. Like I had to say something big or impressive or whatever, justify my absence through some profound wisdom. Silly. Anyway, this is a breaker of the imaginary ice in my head.
