We rarely receive long duration soaking rains in the Reno-Sparks area. While I was gone this fall, I'm told it rained for nearly two days. I wish I had been here so I could play around with making more photos like this one.

A black and white landscape photo of an empty urban scene at night. It has been raining and everything is wet and reflective. A wide sidewalk extends out from the bottom left to about center frame. A large Victorian style building is on the left but all we see is the brickwork with numerous small windows and a large porch about six feet off of the ground. The porch is bordered by a white wood railing. Old style street lamps on posts border the sidewalk on the right. grass and trees dominate the right side of the frame. A man mysteriously stands against the brick part of the building looking out toward the grass area. He is far away, but we can see he wears a flop hat and a raincoat.
