Today is also International Crow and Raven Appreciation Day and I for one, appreciate the corvids. They are extraordinarily intelligent birds! Here is my murder of crows, part of my #termsOfVenery series of collective nouns for animals series of prints.

The raven is the official bird of the Yukon, in my print with the official flora, fireweed.

Lastly my crow print, inspired by a photo my husband took.

Happy birthday to #geochemist Charles David Keeling (1928 - 2005) whose decades long observations of CO2 in air samples from Mauna Loa Observatory were some of the 1st direct data to show the human contribution to greenhouse effect & global warming. The 'Keeling Curve' (in copper & red) shows both the seasonal variations (the wiggles) & the strong upward trend with time as the greenhouse gas built up in the atmosphere. 🧵1/

I'm working on a new Beach Huts print only I don't know what to call it as I've already made a Beach Huts print!

This one is from three years ago and has been a very slow seller! But I really like it. Only printed 22.

The new Beach Huts print is based on the beach huts at Swanpool, Falmouth. I can't wait to show it to you.

I set myself the task to design and print 50 birds using a custom LEGO letterpress technique. This was in 2018. Figured it would take a year or so. I finished the last print earlier this year :-D

WHAT? The artist who made the art for my #solarpunk Halfway to Better collection has made the covers into GREETING CARDS!

One of my fav things to do is to support artists, and I usually do that through commissioning cover art, but often through buying cards of various artists, even when I can't afford to buy their work.

This is the first time one of my commissions has been made into CARDS!
