I went to the Kennedy Center last night to see Chris Thile and the National Symphony.
Nice program. Some Dvořák, Bach, Ellington, Punch Brothers, Pete Seegar, Beethoven , Caroline Shaw, and an extended piece of his called Attention!.
Attention! was sort of the story of Nickel Creek’s big break getting their cd’s in Starbucks ( remember back when they sold cd’s ). Also his meeting Carrie Fisher.
Nice evening. The sunset with Rosslyn VA from the Kennedy Center terrace was nice too.

Wow. Just wow. Tonight's sunset was 360 degrees of awesome.

A brilliant sunset with purple background and pink clouds and yellow near the horizon. The clouds make a formation that makes the pink like a semicircle, with purple both outside and inside. With a couple of tree and building silhouettes and a street lamp.
A full rainbow, from end to end, over a street with houses and some parked cars. Everything is a little brighter under the rainbow, like a bright rainbow bubble.

I really enjoy using this lens, changing the perspective, playing with the light. The other day, with the influence of desert sandstorms still visible in the sky, I went for a short walk in the beginning of sunset. This small puddle made me think of this week's challenge - water.
