Before the 2024 election, federal prosecutors were "full steam ahead" looking into how a prison gang in Puerto Rico gave drugs to inmates if they voted for a GOP gubernatorial candidate. After Trump’s election, the investigation evaporated.

twas born in El Barrio but grew up in #PuertoRico (Mayagüez represent) and only came back to USA to finish college & go to graduate school. so i didn't grow up speaking “el difícil” as we call la lengua de Chaquespir, nor immersed in USA or gringo cultures.
