The #UN General Assembly #UNGA passed a resolution Wednesday calling for an end to #Israel’s #occupation of #Palestinian territory within 1 year.
124 countries voted in support of the nonbinding resolution, while 12 voted against, including the #UnitedStates, & 43 abstained.
Oren Marmorstein, a spox for the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a post that the resolution is “a distorted decision that is disconnected from reality.”
