It would be easy for the Louvre webteam to play with #WordPress & #Tainacan. Once installed the plugin can fastly import collections from different sources, organize the metadata, and pull out amazing different web presentations with WordPress templates adapted to Tainacan. The new Fediverse #curation feature opens the possibility to select directly from the collection and build threads for scheduled publishing on the Fediverse, like that:

As you can imagine, it all starts with #freesoftware, and in our case, #publicpolicy. #Tainacan began as a tool for publishing #digitalcollections and, over 10 years, became part of Latin America’s open cultural digital infrastructure. As a #WordPress plugin, it helped low-budget institutions adopt it easily—and now it’s attracting larger #museums too. Our current focus is bringing digital collections into #theFediverse.
