Rarely, we do get someone with whom we can hold the conversation in English and, seeing the live footage of the outside area, we can identify it as Gaza from our experience on previous calls. But 99% of the time it’s Joy and Aseel who, within a few moments of speaking to someone, can identify that they’re Palestinian from their dialect and who can tell that they’re in Gaza as they know the geography of their home.
