I already said it, #HolosSocial is by far my most ambitious project. But most of you know me and support me for #Fedilab.
Right now I try to fairly balance the work between these two big projects. My smaller projects feel more like a break.
Please be honest, this matters to me:

  • Fedilab first, slow down Holos (26%, 47 votes)
  • Both together is fine (54%, 98 votes)
  • No opinion (19%, 36 votes)

tbh you're shipping more fixes on Fedilab than you were before you started on Holos, so whatever you're doing is working. if I could ever get my life situated to where I can code again, committing small fixes & improvements to Fedilab is one of the ways I want to get into Android development. thanks for the free software!!

So, I use fedilab daily and currently don't use Hololab at all, BUT... HoloSocial is a fascinating project that could revolutionize selfhosted fediverse usage, especially in countries where phones are common and computers are rare. Accordingly, I'm personally happy to see work shared on both Fedilab (eg good for Fediverse now) and HoloSocial (good for Fediverse future). One of these days when I have some time, I'll definitely give HoloSocial a spin and see how its coming along!

i think holos bring really something to fix the wrong design of the fediverse which nostr and atproto have spotted and fixed. If we want the fedi to succeed, holos is one if the most important long term design evolution and strategic main goal (while fedilab is a client among others, the others can do)
