Now we have a wiki for #Fedilab!
We are slowly migrating the existing (and not-so-complete) documentation to the new wiki :)
If you would like to help by adding/maintaining a wiki page for a feature you like, DM us and we can create a wiki account for you :)
Here's one of the pages we moved so far:

Hey @pixelfed,
Are the API endpoints used in the official #Pixelfed app documented somewhere or we missed something?
We try our best to provide good Pixelfed support in #Fedilab. It would be easier if API information are easily accessible. That would help other third-party apps too. There are some information available in beta-preview.pixelfed.io and docs.pixelfed.org, but it seems not complete

You might know that #Fedilab runs its own translation server (using #LibreTranslate).
But did you know that the app also supports two other translators?
- #Lingva: you won't need extra steps though you can change the default instance.
- #DeepL: A more powerful translator. It's a paid service but you can get 500,000 characters per month for free.
Everything is configurable in settings Have a look to media descriptions).

If any of my techy friends on here could lend a hand or just share this, it would mean a lot to me. A lot of people (myself included) have a hard time narrowing themselves Into one instance and rely on GUIs like this to manage all their mastodons at once. It makes the fediverse a more accessible place.
However #Fedilab allows you to get rid of (strip) the UTM tracking part and get a « clean link » without the UTM part.
Check your Fedilab settings.

You may know that #Fedilab allows you to display the full link before clicking/taping on it.

If you only tap on media in timelines to see them not cropped, you can enable an option in settings so they won't be cropped in your timelines. #Fedilab

To follow Twitter tags with #Fedilab you need the latest release (3.30.1). It works like following Twitter accounts with #Nitter.
In the main menu, open the option "Manage timelines", then check the media descriptions for more details.
You can create several timelines and/or group tags in a single timeline.

I use #Fedilab for all my accounts including 2 #mastodon, #Friendica, #Pixelfed and #PeerTube.
It works manly ok, beside the known issues especially at pixelfeld, which I expect is more a server or protocol bug.
But fedilab supports much more accounts.

If you write messages in different languages, the long list of available languages might be boring to scroll.
To make things easier, just go in Settings > Compose and tap on "Languages in picker".
Then select languages you want to see when composing.
