Also, turn this off in mastodon setting because if someone has a personal grudge against you, they can go in and delete anything or add anything they want.
#Iceland is a small town. I chose a local instance. They deleted everything, locked me out, and will not respond.

It started on Twitter, where I had 17k, Zionists tagged me then I was suspended, now the same pro-genocide people dogpile me on here so I have to keep moving, the admin usually doesn't want to deal with all the complaints, people combing my posts for bad words.
I have no idea what happend on #Vivaldi. They just locked me out complety.
There is a ruling class in #Iceland, they do not like #journalists and I guess #Vivaldi is rich kids.
I pissed off a couple billionaires when I arrived 10 years ago, writing a negative story about the politics. I still get questions about it. So they have long memories.
One guy even stalked me to another town, ringing my doorbell to "check in" on me. Scary, but 9 years ago. I forgot.

It's a bit more confusing than Fediverse and there's LOTS of Bitcoin folks, but there *is* a protocol called Nostr that's censorship resistant.
It's basically like Fediverse, but instead of the instances/relays keeping your data forever, they all "cache" it and if one decides to ban you, you might not even notice since there's 7,000+ relays.
It's also bridged to Fedi. The person you're conversing with is one of my mutual follows on Nostr.
It's a bit difficult to comprehend and get into, but if you put some time into it, maybe it would be a better way to get your messages out, without fear of being "banned" and losing your entire account.🤷♂️
