It started as a low effort "I can finish this in one afternoon" project, with finger-painted moon & splotchy stars. But I decided to add the animals so it ballooned into a week-long ordeal.

Acrylic paint, gesso, matte medium & water-soluble pastels on 180gsm mixed media paper.
