Streetartwall. A pasteup of characters from the movie "Vertigo" was pasted on the corner of a house wall in Paris. James Stewart kisses Kim Novak on one wall while holding hands with another woman pasted on the other wall. Above the woman is a speech bubble with the French text: "This vertigo of love gives me cold sweats..." ("Ce vertige de l'amour me donne des sueurs froides...") In the photo, an elderly couple dressed in winter clothes, carrying a basket and crutch, stand in front of the painting and look at it with interest. Info: A dumb collector stole this painting and another within 24 hours. So there are only about 2 photos of it.

A couple years ago, I was out in the middle of a snow storm, getting as many photographs as I could. On my way home, I spotted the Norfolk Southern 1198 train just sitting on the tracks. The engines were idling, and when they turned on the lights, I knew they were getting ready to move on.
