Finished Asylum (2024) by Una McCormack and I loved it! The novel is about an alien species’ struggles that affect Una and Pike at Starfleet Academy and on the Enterprise.

I usually love anything having to do with the Academy and that part of this story in 2233 is no exception. It’s wonderful to see Una in her senior year and Pike as an Ensign guest lecturer. 1/5 #StarTrekSNW #StarTrek #bookstodon

Ok folks we're going to handle today's post with maturity and class, I want everyone on their best behavior. It's a series of 4 screenshots, scene takes place in Ten Forward at a table. Picard, Riker, and young Wesley Crusher sit at a table and seem to be having nice after work bro hang together. Picture one is Wesley, in full ensign uniform, and he's been splattered and spurted with some kind of whiteish yogurt type substance. Like, imagine if you look a big ladle of vanilla yogurt, and just flung it at Wesley's face, that's what we have here. It's all over his uniform, shoulders, in the eyes, probably up the nose, everywhere. He looks shocked, naturally. Picture two is on Riker, and he's laughing.
