Happy Harvest Day from unceded Lenape land, to those who celebrate. I denounce this day’s roots in genocide and its historical whitewashing. But I’ll take today and every day as a chance to be grateful for family and life’s blessings, and a call to be kind and do better.

“This isn’t the time.”

We need to ask them WHY. Because we are done accepting these as a Democrat’s four favorite words. They lost 2024. To DT.

Another photo from Japan Village in Brooklyn. We happened to arrive at the, uh, tail end of a Furry convention, and it was delightful to see folks walking around in their fluffy costumes! It’s not a community I’m familiar with, but I always love to see connection and creativity.😍

A secluded alley in Japan…

…Village, in Brooklyn, NY. Japan Village is actually a bustling marketplace occupying two buildings, and this may be the only “secluded alley” it has. It’s a lovely sliver of quiet where I can pretend I’m elsewhere, if just for a moment.

Sharing this as an homage to all the great Japan street photography I see on this app, but have never had the chance to try myself.😊
