The Solar eclipse as seen from my home in Reykjavík, Iceland.

If you look closely you can see a sunspot close to the centre of the sun.

Taken with a Canon 77D, 400mm lens with a Seymour Solar filter at the front of it.

Here's the maximum partial solar ellipse from Reno, Nevada. Sun disk obscuration was 35.8% at 11:19am local time. The big sunspot is region 3628. For scale, the spot is approximately twice the size of the Earth. Wish I could have seen the total eclipse but it was too far to go. I saw the total eclipse in 2017, though. When that last bit of the sun winks out the sudden change in the environment is amazing! If I live long enough the 2044 total eclipse will pass over Reno.
